Glide through winter: Skating is available at the Gananoque Recreation Centre. Public skating is on Mondays from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Fridays from 8 to 9:30 p.m. and Sundays from 2 to 3:15 p.m. Cost on Mondays is $1, and on Fridays and Sunday it is $1.50 for students and $2 for adults. Mom & Tots skating takes place at the centre Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:230 a.m., Wednesday 10 to 11 a.m. for $1 per adults, tots are free. Seniors can skate Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Exercise is important ~ no matter what age: SMART Exercise Program (for Seniors) runs in Lansdowne each Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Lansdowne Community Hall. Call Judith Osler at 613-342-3693 or the hall at 1-800-456-7646 for more information.
